LOW TEMPERATURE STEEL PIPE

The   ASTM A333   specification covers seamless and welded carbon steel pipes for low-temperature service (down to -150 degrees F). Specific nominal pipe size/schedule foreseen by the ASME B36.10 specification are not manufactured in A333 as higher wall thicknesses have a negative effect on the impact properties of the pipe at very low temperatures. Sizes 1/4” Nominal to 42”O.D. Wall Thickness – Schedule 10 through XXH Lengths required shall be specified on order.
